The experience
Active since the thirteenth century, the Bonagia tuna trap still keeps the tonnaroti’s muciare (boats) and the songs — the cialome — that accompanied the mattanza: the most vivid and direct memory of this trade. The new route starts from the Molino Excelsior and votive bread, then goes down towards Bonagia following the passage from land to sea.
