Misericordia Urban Park

It is the great green lung of the Valderice area, extending just over 19 hectares, with numerous equipped areas, a children’s play area, bocce courts, tables, benches, drinking fountains and toilets, allowing visitors to rest and enjoy the landscape, the rich Mediterranean scrub, and the stony ground and groves it is rich in.

Here is the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean scrub: the dwarf palm, spurge, mastic, spiny broom and ampelodesmos. Scattered in the woodland, some wild olive trees emerge, a native fruit no longer cultivated, while on the warm rocks wallflowers bloom.
