The place

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful works of modern architecture in the area. Begun in 1986 and inaugurated in 1993, the San Barnaba Theatre was built alongside the old quarries in the S. Barnaba district, inside the municipal pine grove. It is made of concentric steps and can hold up to 1000 seats. During the summer season cultural, concert and film events are held there, organised by the “Teatro Città di Valderice” body.
