Petrosino
An area to discover
Petrosino is a young municipality of the province of Trapani, with a strong farming and wine-growing identity shared with Marsala. Vineyard countryside, rural bagli and a sandy coast with the Biscione beach make it a simple and authentic destination, between land and sea.

The identity of the place
A story to live
The history of Petrosino as an independent municipality of the province of Trapani begins in 1980. Before that date, the town was part of the territory of Marsala. Petrosino and Marsala in fact share a common farming and wine-growing vocation. Their countryside has wide fields cultivated mostly with vines, with various local fruit and vegetable productions. Wandering through the fields you will meet the typical bagli, rural architectural structures especially common in the area between Marsala and Mazara del Vallo: true fortified farmsteads with inner courtyards onto which the old manor house looks. Besides the agricultural landscape, Petrosino is characterised by sandy coasts (we recommend the Biscione beach) that in summer become crowded holiday destinations.
